We have three kid-friendly picnic areas which have all the facilities you'll need. Our picnic shelters and barbecues are popular - so it's a 'first come, first serve' basis, with sharing encouraged.

Riverdale Park playspace
Riverdale Park playspace is located south of Logan Motorway, amongst sports ovals and full-sized basketball and cricket nets. The reserve also offers paths for cycling.
Suitable age group: 1 to 10 years
Riverdale Park playspace upgrade
We’re renewing the playspace at Donvale Reserve as part of our Riverdale park outdoor investments program.
What's included in the upgrade?
- The new playspace will have:
- Monkey bars
- Double swing including a basket seat
- Nature play area with timber steppers and log climbing
- New bench seats
- New concrete paths
When will it be done?
Construction is expected to begin in the first half of 2024.
